Empowering the Middle East Green Vision: CENTER INT & LONGi Join Forces with Bahrain's Almaaraj Group, Signing a New Energy Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On February 13, 2026, CENTER INT, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "LONGi"), and Bahrain's Almaaraj Holding Company (referred to as "Almaaraj Group") solemnly held a strategic framework cooperation agreement signing ceremony at CENTER INT's Beijing headquarters. The three parties announced plans to integrate their respective core resources and technological advantages to conduct comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in the field of photovoltaic and energy storage, jointly the new energy markets of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to the green and low-carbon transition in the Middle East. On February 14th, the Almaaraj delegation was invited to conduct a site inspection at LONGi's Jiaxing Lighthouse Factory, comprehensively observing the entire process of PV product R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and testing, laying a solid technical and practical foundation for the implementation of the tripartite cooperation.

Distinguished attendees at the signing ceremony and subsequent activities included: from the Bahraini side, His Highness Shaikha Ahmed, member of the Bahraini royal family and owner of Almaaraj Group, and his family member Shaikha Juju; Mr. Irfan Ismail Shaikh, Group General Manager; and Ms. Sunny Gan, China Representative. On the afternoon of February 13th, the Almaaraj Group delegation visited CENTER INT's Beijing headquarters. They toured the first-floor exhibition hall, the R&D building rooftop, and the operation and maintenance centralized control center, gaining insights into CENTER INT & LONGi's development history, core business, and strategic vision. The delegation inspected the on-site BIPV power station and the integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging demonstration station, observing live demonstrations of core technologies such as the intelligent cleaning system and digital operation and maintenance management system. They highly praised the profound technological expertise and engineering implementation capabilities demonstrated by CENTER INT & LONGi in areas such as BIPV, intelligent operation and maintenance, and photovoltaic-storage integration.

During the subsequent tripartite cooperation meeting, representatives from each party introduced their respective companies. CENTER INT & LONGi focused on sharing its full range of PV products, solutions, and typical cases, detailing core solutions including LONGi Color PV BIPV, offshore PV, and onshore PV. The Almaaraj Group systematically elaborated on its new energy project plans and application scenarios in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The three parties engaged in in-depth discussions surrounding core topics such as color BIPV projects, onshore and floating centralized PV projects, commercial and industrial PV projects, and supporting energy storage, reaching a high degree of consensus for cooperation. That evening, a cooperation and exchange dinner was held in the Peony Hall at CENTER INT's headquarters, further deepening mutual trust and consolidating in a harmonious atmosphere.

Witnessed by all attending representatives, the three parties formally signed the strategic framework cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the three parties will uphold the principles of equality, mutual benefit, and sincere cooperation, deeply integrating core strengths in local resources, technological R&D, and engineering implementation to jointly promote the vigorous development of the photovoltaic and energy storage industry in the Middle East.

According to the project plan, Almaaraj Group will advance a series of benchmark new energy projects in Bahrain, including an approximately 10MW offshore hotel PV project, an 800MW offshore floating centralized PV project, a 50MW commercial and industrial PV project, and supporting energy storage facilities. These projects will  adopt PV modules and solutions from CENTER INT & LONGi. In this collaboration, each party will leverage its strengths: LONGi will contribute its world-leading PV technology R&D and product manufacturing advantages, supplying core PV modules; CENTER INT, relying on its unique full-process service capabilities to systematically address BIPV product and engineering building attribute issues domestically, will undertake project EPC general contracting, providing comprehensive professional support from preliminary investigation and design, system optimization, to engineering construction, grid connection acceptance, and subsequent operation and maintenance; Almaaraj Group will fully utilize its local resources and business networks to safeguard project planning and implementation. This strong alliance aims to create a model of China-Middle East new energy cooperation for the era.

Following the signing ceremony, the parties exchanged gifts, symbolizing expectations. Mr. Liu Aisen, Chairman of CENTER INT, presented the Almaaraj Group with a Year of the Horse Spring Festival commemorative gold coin, using the imagery of a galloping horse to wish the cooperation swift success and a long journey ahead. HH Shaikha Ahmed reciprocated with a gift of a traditional Arab dhow model. Today, Bahrain serves as a gateway and strategic pivot for the "Belt and Road" initiative in the Gulf region. This dhow setting sail is both a tribute to historical ties and a metaphor for the stable and enduring cooperation between the parties, sailing towards the vast blue ocean of green energy. The two gifts, one embodying galloping momentum and the other symbolizingambition, together added a culturally resonant and heartfelt touch to this strategic cooperation.

To further consolidate the cooperation foundation, on February 14th, the Almaaraj Group delegation was invited to conduct a site inspection at LONGi's Jiaxing Lighthouse Factory. The delegation successively visited the factory exhibition hall, Workshop 4, the BIPV roof, and the testing center, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire process of PV product R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and quality inspection, witnessing firsthand LONGi'scapabilities in PV technology R&D, standardized production, and quality control. The delegation highly commended LONGi's advanced production processes and stringent quality systems. This inspection laid a solid practical foundation for the substantive implementation of the tripartite cooperation.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks a key milestone in CENTER INT's deepening internationalization and its foray into the Middle East new energy market.
