CENTER INT Wins Another National Major S&T Project to Support Water Environmental Risk Prevention and Control in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

The 2026 project approval results for the National Science and Technology Major Project on Comprehensive Environmental Governance in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region have been officially released. Led by the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences and jointly applied for by CENTER INT Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CENTER INT"), the project titled Precise Identification and Intelligent Emergency Technologies for Major Water Environmental Risks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and Their Demonstration has been successfully approved. As a participating entity, CENTER INT will be primarily responsible for research on core treatment technologies as well as demonstration and verification work.Approved by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the National Science and Technology Major Project on Comprehensive Environmental Governance in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region is the first national major S&T project centered on systematic ecological and environmental governance of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. It aims to address regional environmental governance challenges through scientific and technological innovation, and support the development of a pioneering and exemplary zone for advancing Chinese-style modernization featuring harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.Following the company’s lead role in the 2025 project Intelligent Identification and Disposal Robots for Pollution in Complex Scenarios, this marks CENTER INT’s second consecutive participation in the major national S&T project for comprehensive environmental governance in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. It demonstrates CENTER INT’s commitment to continuously increasing R&D investment in the ecological and environmental governance sector, and also recognizes the company’s research capabilities within the industry. This milestone signifies the expansion of CENTER INT’s R&D focus from groundwater remediation to the prevention and control of watershed water environmental risks. Leveraging collaborative innovation across the project team, CENTER INT will contribute to building robust risk prevention and control models for major watershed water environments across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
