Project Profile: This site has a complex historical usage, having served as a landfill for iron and steel smelting slag, a fishing gear and building materials workshop, a site for steel slag foamed concrete production, a construction equipment rental yard, a municipal waste transfer station, a building materials warehouse, and a chemical storage facility. The site is planned for future development as Class I and Class II land use.

Primary Contaminants: Heavy Metals, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH)

Technical Approach: Solidification/Stabilization, Cement Kiln Co-processing, General Solid Waste Disposal
