Foshan Lamp Manufacturing Plant Site Remediation Project

Project Profile: Before 2000, this site was primarily engaged in the production of enameled wire, electric wires, and cables. After 2000, it was acquired by a Foshan-based company, which gradually renovated the existing buildings on-site to successively conduct production of T8 fluorescent lamps, high-efficiency energy-saving fluorescent lamps, and LED lamps. After 2018, the various production lines were progressively shut down and relocated. From 2021 to the present, no further production activities have occurred on the site.

Primary Contaminants: Heavy Metals, Volatile and Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds

Technical Approach: Ex-situ Thermal Desorption, Ambient Temperature Desorption, Cement Kiln Co-processing, Secure Landfilling
